CVS & CAREER STORIES

A custom CV built around your real experience

Your CV needs to help someone understand what you can contribute. Personal design and clear structure can work together when the facts remain easy to find.

Choose the design for the application

For a form-based recruitment process, favour a simple reading order, familiar section headings and selectable text. For a creative conversation or portfolio introduction, a more expressive layout may be useful. Keep a straightforward version alongside a visual version when the application context is uncertain.

No design tool can guarantee how every recruitment system will read a CV. Follow the employer's file requirements and check the text in the exported PDF instead of relying on an 'ATS-friendly' label.

Make the details yours

  1. Begin with your own information

Supply the roles, dates, qualifications and contact details you want included. Tell the AI what to omit and which achievements matter for this application.

  2. Choose useful CV blocks

Start with a masthead, experience entry, skills with evidence or qualification table. Edit each word and visual element. Add your own portrait only if it is appropriate for the application.

  3. Control the hierarchy

Give your name, role headings and dates consistent positions. Keep descriptions readable and use colour to organise the page rather than decorate every line.

  4. Review every statement

Replace all sample content. Check spelling, dates, contact links and claims of responsibility. Ask whether each bullet explains work you actually did and a result you can support.

Translate the wording without inventing a new career

Tessuvi separates the interface language from the document language. Changing the menu language should not rewrite an existing CV. Use the explicit project-translation workflow when you want to translate editable text, and review names, qualifications and industry terminology afterwards.

Keep a separate version for each application or language when the wording differs. Text drawn into an image is not the same as editable CV text and should not be your default for an application document.

Check the file an employer will receive

  • Use the requested page size and file format; A4 is available for document layouts.
  • Open the PDF and read it at normal size, including the smallest contact text.
  • Check that text can be selected in the exported reading copy where that matters to the application.
  • Keep private contact details out of public links unless you intend to publish them.
  • Keep your editable original so you can tailor the next version without rebuilding it.
